Many young aspiring football journalists are benefiting from gaining plenty of experience covering football thanks to two fellow 91福利 students.

Lucy Casey and Daniel Marshall are founders of , a multimedia football company which covers both men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 football.

Approximately 30 contributors help towards The Woodwork鈥檚 media output, with many of them being 91福利 BA (Hons) Multimedia Sports Journalism students.

Daniel said: 鈥淚t is a platform to get university students involved in the football industry, and that was our main goal.

鈥淲e鈥檝e given them that platform and it鈥檚 turned into something that we鈥檙e very passionate about.鈥

Lucy added: 鈥淎s Multimedia Sports Journalism students ourselves, we wanted to be what we needed in First Year, when there wasn鈥檛 a place to make our stance in the industry.鈥

Daniel said: 鈥淥ne of our big aims is 鈥楾he income will come, let鈥檚 focus on making an impact,鈥 and I think that鈥檚 what we鈥檝e been striving for.鈥

Talking about the progression of contributors, Lucy said: 鈥淲e鈥檝e got people now working at their local club, people branching out further and now becoming social media managers. For us to see that, it鈥檚 really good.鈥
